If being "legal" equated with being "OK" then we wouldnt have laws in the first place. If rape were not yet criminalised would it be ok? So the defence of "The site allows it therefore its ok" doesnt really stand up; the fact that Russ is planning a fix is further evidence!

And consider that you are still a provisional. There are many people that sign on to the site, start a few games to see how it goes and then proceed to disappear without a trace without finishing them. If you have an open invite and then don't play, they may still decide it's not worth the risk of waiting to see if you are still there or not, so they delete it if you are not moving. There may be many reasons why they deleted them, some may be valid to you and others are not.
In conclusion: just let it go. Awareness has been raised, a solution is on its way, let's wait and see if it is a good one or not.

I suspect it wasn't made a feature for the purpose of timewasting but more probably for when the opponent was not moving. Whatever, I consider the feature is often abused. But that's just my opinion. 😛
But I will go with your latter statement, that in some cases it probably is abused. Now that part should be fixed. I could see how someone could potentially go and delete every challenge just for the heck of it. But that is something totally different. Let's see what Russ comes up with. The Monkey man, does some pretty slick stuff. Whatever his choice is I will support.
