The point was that the number contained years (something like 149217762000) that are important for American history (sorry about the terible description.)
I think I remeber reading it around the middle of March this year, probably in Posers and Puzzles or in General. I don't remember who posted in the thread and the search function didn't help me either. I just can't find it.
