@T-R-O-L-L saidI’m a tinned plain sardine fan. Grilled with sliced onions on my rye & wholegrain bread,
mackerel in a can, $1.49
sprinkled with sea salt, pepper & a drizzle of decent olive oil and a side of sauerkraut.
Heart healthy, 20g of protein, lowest on the mercury content scale & can cost as little as 60p.

We have the same palate. π
My family thinks fish from a can is gross. They run away.
being replaced by Jack Mackerel, an entirely different species. It also has much less Omega 3.

I eat all processed fish, mackerel in a can, tuna in water or oil, sardines in mustard and sardines in oil/pepper etc
Nothing raw, so my thread title is misleading I reckon.
I don't know about jack mackerel and I should really start reading the ingredients, which I never do. Some fish can be not what you think it it and even dangerous if not in moderation.
@Drewnogal saidI heard about this; is it just ASDA doing it?
