So I am sitting here on my computer and I have recently turned my printer off for the night. Suddenly the printer turns on and starts printing something.

This really freeked me out, because I was wondering what it would be printing. A secret letter? A message from God?

Turns out, it was printing a page of something I had printed earlier. Ok, so this is not so strange, maybe it had some type of error. So I turn the printer off again, and within 1 minute, it turns itself back on again and starts printing the same thing again.

What is going on here? Is there a spirit in my printer? What do I do?

😕

Can you go in and check the printer que? See how many jobs are waiting.

Note: This gives me great ideas for a practical joke. Maybe a Jesus watermarked paper randomly slipped in with the copy machine paper?

I think a much better joke would be to write "in 7 days, you will die"

That would test out what sort of a person the recipent really was - they might go on a killing spree.

Too much.

Nothing would happen.

My way is better.

I'm going to take a stab here and suggest that your computer messaged your printer and said "Hey this person is sitting on me and I'm not happy about this so would you mind freaking her out by printing after she turns you off?". Obviously the printer was obliging.

Xerox would say it is a special new function they have invented and charge an extra £20 for it!

It did it again tonight! Argh!

Luckily there were no messages from God.

How can the computer turn the printer "on" and then print something?

I will have to do more research on this!

One time I found out I had a power that might explain your printer.

I was on a bus an we stopped at a set of traffic lights, so I closed my eyes and focussed all my power on the lights to go green. After a little focussing, i felt the bus move and opened my eyes to find the lights had changed.

So the scientific explanation for this is that sometimes humans have powers over electical life that we never realise exists.
