But still, even if expressive is right that one cannot rec a post more than once, it will mean that such threads would be continuously bumped up the forum because people would be posting just to be recced.
I'm not a sub and never was, even if I've been here a long time so it's not up to me to suggest extra-work for Russ, but I really think you could ask for recs in the private forums in the Site Ideas, not cluttering non-private forums. I'm sure such an idea could even be greeted with enthusiasm by other subs.
Edit: Such crappy grammar deserves to be incinerated by grammar nazis, so I'll leave it like that.

I've often thought Russ should set up a rec/suck system for the private forums where you can rec or say a post sucks. Clan leaders should also be able to pick the name of these 'brownie points' so they show up over each post if a user decides a post is 'good or bad'.
They would have little to do with rec's in the public forums.... this feature could be turned on or left off depending what a clan leader wants for their clan. They could opt to use the rec, but not the suck if they so desire.
