If the problem is "inane posts getting recced", the current course of action by you and others is just making the problem worse. And you know you are doing it. You could at least show a bit of respect to Russ and his website, if to no one else. For the same reason you should take down your vacation flag.
The "recommended posts" section was usually more or less full of pretty good, or at least diverting, posts. It was a useful feature and I hope it returns. If you have a problem with it, take it to site ideas.
Incidentally, I have no problem with "private forum recs", provided they are flagged up as such, although it seems utterly pointless and really rather childish.

I wager that using only my elbows and my own poo that I could produce a better piece of work than anything you have put forward. The best thing I can say is that some of the photographs are half way decent and that I'd like to see your female model naked.
