Hi Ivanhoe
You might love this one :

"It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet."
George Bush -Arlington Heights, Ill., Oct. 24, 2000 (*)

We 're lucky Condoleeza redirected Georgie's attention towards The Axis of Evil. Georgie would have started pushing for war against The Dark Dungeon Masters of the Internet otherwise. And that concept would have been simply too complicated for the average american mind 🙂
Though I guess most Christians can grasp such dark concepts easily.
An idea for the Pope ?
Russ should start to worry : ain't red hot dark ?

(*) looted from this Dark Dungeon : http://www.columbiacentral.com/dubya/
Enjoy.
This one is even more sinister : "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully"
--Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

How about this one:

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

Pradtf, I've waited to post this one:

Let me tell you something. As we were walking around in the store, Marilyn and I were just really impressed by all the novelties and the different types of little things that you could get for Christmas. And all the people that would help you, they were dressed up in things that said `I believe in Santa Claus'. And the only thing that I could think is that I believe in George Bush.

-- Senator Dan Quayle at a garden center and produce store in Baltimore (from the Los Angeles Times, Douglas Jehl, 11/6/88)
