Driving alone late one evening from New England to California, several decades ago, a total stranger two cars in front of mine paid my $6-7.00 New York Thruway Toll at the interchange with the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Lake Erie. Tried unsuccessfully to catch up to see if the driver was someone I recognized or, if no ...[text shortened]... l forum posters will take the time to share a few of their similar experiences. Thanks.

Random acts of kindness are still alive and well. Earlier this evening my friend's cousin, whom I had met once berfore several months ago, stopped by for an unhurried visit. Half hour or so into our lively conversation, Vincent excuses himself to get something he had left in the car. He returned with two large decorative gift bags loaded with a variety of unusual goodies. I assumed both were for Sonny until he presents one to me as well, with "just a little something I thought you guys would enjoy."

Really, what did you understand the answer as being?

Do you do like Phlabs, read a few words and guess at the rest?

You forget a lot of things Trev, it could be from the lack of sleep.

What you don't know, you make up.

I see you're still a shoe shinner around here! ๐Ÿ˜›

i'm not getting dragged into it rusty... the only thing i see in this thread (which is actually a decent idea for a thread) is pitiful sadness from everyone who has taken it off topic and back into the same old lame bs of a year or two ago.

I agree with you 100% 10 thumbs down for a "Random Acts of Kindness" thread is pretty childish.

Then Phlabs jumping in messing the whole thread up.

Of course an Angel like yourself never involves himself in such pettyness!!!

One of the good things I have found in this life is what goes around comes around.

You do good for people and eventually it comes back to you.

You treat people poorly and eventually that comes back at you also.

That's great advice, Rusty. Very wise. It's almost like the Golden Rule, isn't it?
