Spiritual needles in haystacks?

Xanthos after reading several articles one being from Shavixmir I decided to once again try and re read your article. While I appreciate your effort it's conclusion seemed obvious and somewhat unimportant except for the (global warming) part without doing any study. Yet it's good enough for a conversation. And sense I am only half human and can't give you a rec at this time I won't but I do agree with Shavixmir (maybe he needs a rec) that a pat on the back never hurts anyone. So your effort should at least be given honorary mention. To me it just didn't seem as if recs are anything of value. But I suppose to some people there is value. I can agree with your study. It's just I didn't find it all that well written. It seemed too dry, yet almost comical in a scientific sort of way. Because it's really not rocket science. Which is what made it so funny. I agree with you that sometimes what seems like should get a recommendation doesn't and what shouldn't does. And I suppose that you tried all those methods out especially the one liners and insults. Which I am sure is why you have so many rec's. So if anything comes out of this study maybe you should rewrite it into a how to article. Maybe the title could be How to Get More Recomendations's in the RHP Forums. 😲

Xanthos omitted a category for serial recs given by stalkers and brown-nosers.

The possibilty exists that this research was conducted for that very purpose. A study in acquisition. Not a study of Use and Meaning at all!

While we've been fed a pile of insipid and mundane pie charts, the real McCoy, interesting and useful stuff has been withheld. For personal use only...

I believe they make up a large portion of 'unknown', as I said a good portion of that category went to a handful of posters (no it didn't include me).

Also, Gatecrasher yes there is more to what I looked at then what I posted. I didn't go to the trouble of processing it and writing it up in case the whole lot just got ignored. I'm not sure if I'll bother to do it now.

But this has turned into a very successful thread. It won't be ignored.

Kneecaps have been broken for recs . What would that be labeled as ? I also have it on good authority that many female site members have been selling their bodies for recs , an ...[text shortened]... have been getting recs for brokering those services . What catagory would these recs fall into ?
Attempted humor, obviously.

Personally I think that r ...[text shortened]... side the safety margin (actually it's the margin of uncertainty of the test). Is my drug safe?
Isn't this the modus operandi of the FDA?
