Does everybody here use Red Hot Pawn as their entry into our little world, or are there any people who only use Red Hot Chess, Time For Chess or Chess At Work, and never, ever use RHP?
I always use RHP at home, but I use Chess at Work at work, not because it gets round any anti-game blocks, but because it doesn't stand out as much.

I don't know why I never thought of it before, but CAW is much better than RHP for running on Windows Mobile over GPRS or G3 wireless Internet.
The smaller amount of graphical content means less to download, which means less money!
Only problem now is that the newest version of the Opera web browser for Smartphone won't shrink the board quite enough, and Internet Explorer won't shrink it at all.
Thunderhawk is a much better browser, but you have to pay for it.
I use TFC. Which sounds like an x-rated version of tender loving care. I think it's slower than RHP for some reason, but all that white and red is hideous, TFC is much nicer to look at.
CAW doesn't do it for me. Why not a real work version, where you can make the board very small, no logo saying CHESS AT WORK in big letters, a boss button, etc. I end up looking at the little 'info' boards on My Games so that there isn't obviously a big fat chess board all over my screen...
