Or were you talking about my list? I've never actually experienced a dentist's waiting room with piped music. I think they prefer patients to hear the screams emanating from the previous entrant.

Or Yoko Ono's "Don't worry Kyoko, mommy only looking for her hand in the snow", Now that's screaming. Hey maybe she was in a dentist's chair.

Lol. I may be wrong but I think there's also a Richard Strauss opera that features quite a lot of screaming/screeching.

I have had a lifelong aversion to Yoko Ono and don't plan to negate the one good characteristic I possess.

Oh trust me, Crash Test Dummies is a favorite of dentists. It inspires dread
    right before the torture.

I considered great deal of gigs I had attended as making up missed classes.
Band Television toured to perform thier cult LP "Marquee Moon", and I saw them in Milan.
    YouTube
I noticed that their drummer Billy Ficca had stick attached to his left hand with some tape or belt.

When I was in Marseille to see Undertones, some old buggers went into the venue before visitors, I was angry because they jumped the queue. They were nice though, and I saw that all of them were wearing some plastic wristband. Like in hospital, and they did look very sick and old.

Later I recognized them on the stage:
    (performing "Jimmy Jimmy"😉

Just picture an AC/DC concert now. If I recall correctly, one of them has
senile dementia and the other is deaf.
Malcolm (dementia) was replaced two years ago, and (almost) deaf singer will be replaced by Axle Rose in last 10 gigs of Ac Dc tour:::

i like a sly, poking of fun, at one's own chosen path...
the greatest band name ever, cheap trick...
not that they were any more than a cheap trick, but, if played correctly, would get you laid...

    I think it's cr.ap and bul.l.sheeting.

First, such reunions are only chance for me to see those buggers before they die.
Second, who has right to stop them feeling young?
It's no more or less "sad and pathetic" than getting stuff off e-bay or from an antique shop.
