I'm in Cape Town and won't be able to travel to that side due to work.
If someone would like to help arrange a CA meet, I'd gladly attend.
I see thus far we have 3 or so interested parties from the Western Cape. I can think of a few lovely venues for a meeting out in Paarl / Stellenboch which would probably be happy to have a few chess nerds at the premises.
Born in Durban, live in Joburg, will cross Jukskei deep into boerewors curtain (went to school at Pretoria BHS), and although I think Cape town is a spiffing place to visit it looks like cozy Jozi is cracking the nod...advice to Antoine pick a weekend and post it soon- April 08 is fairly open but not for long...

Sounds good. A venue should be easy to arrange depending on which day of the week we meet. Anywhere in CT is fine though, does not have to be in the CBD. I live in the Southern Subs myself.
I'm out in the Milnerton area, but am happy to drive out.
I think the questions are:
How many of our fellow Capetonians are happy to commute?
How many of us are comfortable in a pub environment?
Is there enough interest from CA to warrant an event?
