Over the years have met up with several forum regulars, on the other chess site I play on. (Including the Webmaster). Without exception they were always enjoyable encounters, and people were pretty much as I expected them to be. (Not always in appearance, but certainly in character). Long term posters tend to be genuine in regards to their persona.

I owe Geoff Chandler a beer or two, and I would like to make good on them in person some day. If I could get Vandervelde and Nimzo5 to come along, it would be beer by the pitcher. I think I would just sit and listen as my vision slowly became blurred!
There are lots of others here that would make a great brick and mortar club somewhere.
