1st - 10 pts - 15 Relic (Great subject and brilliant b/w composition)
2nd - 8 pts - 14 Ceský sen (beautiful scene, nice warm lighting, taken at the perfect time of day)
3rd - 6 pts - 2 Untitled (great composition--good eye; I like the ground-level viewpoint; nice rich depth of shading)
4th - 5 pts - 17 Powers Out Toughest Stains (very good, with lots of visual interest and strong emotional impact)
5th - 4 pts - 13 Life on the Streets (powerful emotive subject and well-composed)
6th - 3 pts - 10 Bodemuseum, Berlin (nice composition; I like the vertical symmetry from the reflections, and the horizontal framing by the trees and building)

Have you ever lived on the streets? Or are you referring to the fact that the dogs leg looks like a doodle?

I just wanted to make sure nobody would think I was thrusting my hips in their general direction 😀

1st - 10 pts - 2 Untitled (Excellent exposure, and an image that definitely fits the subject)
2nd - 8 pts - 20. Wishful (Intelligent picture, I think, and typically urban to me, though not at first sight. Would have been an excellent entry for the next round)
3rd - 6 pts - 19 18 Chicago Sears Tower (for 1600 iso, the noise isn't too bad. I liked this Chicago picture better because of the more traditional size of the crop.)
4th - 5 pts - 17. Powers Out Toughest Stains (I love the dramatic composition)
5th - 4 pts - 14 Ceský sen (I can't add much that hasn't been said before. Beautiful light, painting-like quality. I'm curious what (if any) kind of post-processing this image had. But I don't think 'urban' if I see this image, otherwise I would have given it more points.)
6th - 3 pts - 3. Anachronism
7th - 2 pts - 13 Life on the Streets (This looks like a small part of the original photograph?)
8th - 1 pt - 10. Bodemuseum, Berlin

1st - 10 pts - 14. Ceský sen - lovely picture.
2nd - 8 pts - 4 Deserted - I'm a sucker for shots like these!
3rd - 6 pts - 2 Untitled
4th - 5 pts - 8 Edna's Sports
5th - 4 pts - 15. Relic
6th - 3 pts - 17. Powers Out Toughest Stains - I like this - it has great colour and shows urban life as many of us will never see it. I just don't like the telegraph pole on the left, without this it would score higher.
7th - 2 pts - 19. Chicago Skyline
8th - 1 pt - 18. Chicago Sears Tower - nice skylines on both these chicago shots, I prefer the composition and colour at ground level on 19 over 18.

Other Comments:

9. Passing Through - mind the crane! I know we can't help building work that's ongoing, I just wouldn't take the picture in this case.

10. Bodemuseum, Berlin - nice reflection, but cranes again - in both pics these could be edited out using photoshop perhaps? The sky is such that this would be possible.

20. Wishful - interesting interpretation of the category. I guess the brolly makes this urban?

A nice set of pics in general.
