In the years I've been involved in theses competitions I don't believe a writer has ever voted for their own entry.

And it shall not be done, by yours truly anyway. I have no further stupid questions or comments to make, and shall be silent forthwith on the matter.

You wouldn't have a clue who voted for whom goad, don't talk so silly! Unless of course they told you like I did last year, which will not happen this year! 😉

As far as I can tell this is true.
I do a spreadsheet to count the votes, and it would immidiately surface if someone voted for their own.

Plus in the past most writers identify with their work and you can chekc even now when looking though the old threads. (I gave them in the other thread, maybe I have to look that up.

Virtually all votes are done publically. Indeed only ONE vote was made privately by PM to Ponderable last year, and that was by you. And similarly, virtually all (if not everybody) who wrote an entry said afterward what they had written.

Feel free to retract your erroneous assertion. (Or better still, bugger off).
