The countries finest chain of record shops can no longer sustain its business model of squeezing margins to make buying CD's cheaper than iTunes, and DVD's cheaper than renting.

I remember being kind of sad when Tower Records shut down. I used to spend a ton of time there.

Tower Records was a great place to hang around. I surely do agree RB.

There was one (Tower records) in Birmingham I used to go to. Was a bit overpriced, so wasn't surprising when they closed down. Nice atmos in there though, so I often spent quite some time digging the crates whilst the missus was in H&M around the corner.
