Without thinking, the most recent 'sad' film (actually it's a documentary) that I have seen, has to be 'Grizzly Man'. It's about this guy Timothy Treadwell. I just happened to switch onto National Geographic the other night, and the first thing that caught my attention was the incredible footage. So I sat through the rest.... it was unbelievable stuff.
