I think I'd rather be a honey wasp than a 'sweat bee', I think if I was a sweat bee I'd sting people just for the hell of it.

Mind you I wouldn't mind being an Indian jumping ant; sounds like they have all the fun...

Hornet (Level 2) probably the most intense from the list living in Europe 😉

I must say, Florida's fire ants don't tickle.
Thankfully, I've never had the displeasure of being stung by the dreaded "Harvester". One has to be very unlucky and/or negligent to experience one of those.

To the best of my recollection, I have never been stung by any insect.

Must be a 'don't even think about it' vibe I'm putting out there.

I once stepped in a wasps nest as young child out picking blueberries with with my aunt. I don't know how many times I got stung but it was a lot. My aunt took this blackish looking mud that was nearby and rubbed it all over the wasp bites. Soon the stinging and burning stopped. Lucky for me she knew just what to do, or you people would not have be fortunate enough to have me with you today. 😉

Can you die from wasp stings?
Some people may die from insect venom anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction). ... Although multiple stings increase the potential danger in allergic cases, a serious or even fatal allergic reaction can (and does) occur from a single sting in a person with no known prior allergic reaction.

It's certainly possible, though probably quite rare.

One time it was rare for people to be allergic to peanuts, now the kids can't even take them to school anymore.

Would you like to take the chance on it?
