I once stepped in a wasps nest as young child out picking blueberries with with my aunt. I don't know how many times I got stung but it was a lot. My aunt took this blackish looking mud that was nearby and rubbed it all over the wasp bites. Soon the stinging and burning stopped. Lucky for me she knew just what to do, or you people would not have be fortunate enough to have me with you today. 😉

I did the same thing stomping down some twigs for composting. I recall a sensation of heat in my legs then was surrounded by them. I ran like hell to my house tearing off my clothes and shouting profanities until I reached the shower. I got stung 6 times.
