As my father says: if you wnat to eat meat be ready to kill a living being to know what it means.
The only difference between vegetarians and carnivores is that we don’t hear strawberries scream.

Only things that should be canned is soup, beans and sweetcorn.
Dried beans, soak for 12 hours, simmer for an hour, steam up the kitchen then lament over some being squashed and mushy OR open a can of perfectly cooked ones for under a pound? 🤗

Check for BPA in the canned beans. BPA can cause some health problems if too much canned food is used. The only canned stuff I use is sardines or tuna etc. Pressure cooking is the easiest thing and it comes out perfect, and tastier than canned. Healthier too.

BPA is in any packaged foods.
Add to that microplastics now entering our brains. Think RFK jr and brain worms.....

It mentions Calcium chloride, a firming agent but not BPA. So pressure cookers are good for cooking beans. Maybe I’ll get one?I eat tinned sardines too.

Pressure cookers are great. There are the electric ones now .. Instapot is a good brand. Redbeans takes about 55 minutes, without soaking. I do a batch of different beans, and peas, and package and freeze them in small usable amounts. If the canned beans cost 1 pound, I think doing it yourself brings it down to 15p or so.

Good luck with that since that stuff is in ALL our foods. Take a drink of water with a plastic cup and you get a dose of microplastic goo.

We’ve had one for about 18 months and despite my early skepticism I have to say it’s brilliant; you can even do omelets (of a sort) using soft inserts and if it’s big enough one you can roast a chicken. No downsides as far as we can tell.

Its not in all foods at all.
Does someone really need to tell you to stop using plastic cups?
There is a lot people do to reduce plastic consumption.
I believe your type just wants to blame everyone.

Cooking in plastic is dangerous. Use the stainless steel ones.
