If you plan to finish before Christmas, then obviously all these medium clans helping you have decided not to even try to win. I was thinking maybe you and Ikko Ikki would fight each other after taking us out, but I guess you've simply found a bunch of samurai with no ambition who want to tell themselves they were on the winning side despite not winning the game.
The Uesugi and the Monks are within 146 GPV of winning already. Why not just bluster your vassals into giving you that much in provinces and declare victory? It's as honorable as what you are doing now.

1) So you don't care if your allies lose their provinces?:

2) You and the Amako had larger forces in the area, but you wasted your time retreating in front and pursuing the feint from Kotto. Blunderers;

3) Armies are to be used to destroy your enemies, not hoarded like pennies by a skinflint;

4) Even if you do, you'll ...[text shortened]... value for two turns at the very least;

5) Don't worry; we'll come and get you.
lol -
1) short term pain for long term (in this case not so long) term gain
2) For a strategist you really missed here :-)
3) Correct - you forgot used well
4) True but the decision was worth a lot more than the gold cost.
5) Good means l dont have to go as far to destroy you.

Keep running; we'll be in your capital before Christmas.

So far in our little war in the North, you and the Amako have lost ground despite having superior forces at your disposal. Your bragging is a little presumptous.

But bragging is so much fun :-) think of this as bragging fro wehat you are going to do.

l have lost a province that was given to me that is all. l shall not lose any more land to any Kyushu lord of that you can be certain.

Even merchants have to fight sometime :-)

We've had this conversation before; it's getting tedious. What my allies get out of the game is their business. Who knows, maybe there'll be a revolt and the game will last that much longer. Maybe not.

As far as I know one samurai virtue is the ability to recognise your superiors...

Your allies recognise you as their "superior"? Funny, in the Kyushu Alliance we come to decisions by consensus. But then I don't ask my vassals to recognize me as "superior", as you seem to insist on.

I respect you. I respect Amako, Hosokawa and Uesegi. I have no disrespect for Shimazu, though they were outplayed. I don't respect the others who are tagging along hoping for scraps - Oda, Hojo and Asakura. Takeda seems to be another based on his Proclamation.

Are the Takeda going to declare war on me? That would make everybody but Ito and the Otomo.

You are entitled to think that , however others have been instrumental as well e.g Lord Oda, l have gained greatly (as has he )from working together. The Asakura have directly helped me get 2 hans as well. Perhaps their ambitions were not as great as my own. Not being royalty it makes sense to allign with someone who is.

Next time it culd be very different.
