Oh wow...you're right...seriously I feel like I'm in 1990.

It was kinda cool as a novelty thing when it first became popular. Now I think it's a convenient substitute for imagination and talent.

I'm listening to Reel Big Fish...it's all so hyper, I feel like I'm about to have a heart-attack right now.

Ska was popular many years before 1990. Try 1960.

Incidentally, most ska is better listening than a lot of the rubbish around these days.

Sure...and I suppose you think Dr. Strangelove😲HILTSWALTB is funny.

Seriously, it's a good thing I got that DVD in a 3 for 2 deal, otherwise I'd be a bit upset about that purchase.

Yeah, but the same could be said about just about anything.

I'm now listening to Amon Tobin's: Chaos Theory. Great stuff. Makes me want to go out and punch random pedestrians.

EDIT: Ska still sucks. 😉

That's why I bought it - the rank thing.

No, it wasn't too deep - I can figure out jokes like 'no fighting in the war room' - that's pretty easy, I just can't relate to the entire movie being a parody on American fear during the Cold War - I didn't live then, and the whole foreign policy was a joke in itself.

Ever heard of a band called Chicago. In my opinion, they were a very good band.

Go to a ska festival and find out that the raw energie of ska can't be captured on a recording.

Nice to see someone on here that knows what he's talking about.
