For some reason, on this computer I have extremely slow download times - equiv. to what 56k would offer - I don't have this problem on my computers that run on wireless (this one's on hardling broadband). Anybody know why this is happening and how to fix the problem?

Are the wireless computers using the same ISP - hardling? [don't know anything about them]
Some ISPs manage [ie; throttle] downloads - sometimes depending on where they are downloaded from, sometimes depending on the time of day. But if the ISP is the same one as on the wireless computers, it can't really be that.

Hrm, IDK if the ISPs are the same - I do occasionally get a message that both computers are attempting to connect to the same network address, but IDK...
