Play tournament games and join a Clan. Be warned to play not too many games at once. Find first out with about how many you are comfortable with.

You still only have 6 games in progress? What a waste. Immediately get 40 or 50 games going and watch your rating drop 200 points. That's what I did, it's most liberating not to care anymore.
