Thanks everyone for the thoughts, wishes and prayers. Here's an update:
The thing they found in Yuko's esophagus (I know how to spell it now...) also takes up a fair chunk of the top of her stomach. The 3 doctors I've seen so far are amazed at the size of the thing, and that she hasn't felt any pain or discomfort before now. Anyway, they're 98% sure they kn ...[text shortened]... cause she keeps saying that horses run in straight lines and jump over things...
I hope she gets well soon.
My mother had to be taken to the emergency room about a month ago because of kidney stones, she was in pain so they put her on pain killers and ran some tests to see how far the stone had moved they came back with the results and told us that the stone had was no longer a problem but the some X Rays had shown a large growth on the lower part of her stomach....they told us that it was without a doubt a tumor but they would run an endoscopy/biopsy to know if it was malignant or not (at that point they told us 50% chance for malignant 50% for benign). We never expected that both test would show that it was nothing more than a bad case of gastritis caused by a bacteria(H. pylori).
Im not trying to give you false hope but I am trying to show you How

Well, today (or yesterday for those sad pedantic sods who think it's already Friday) was a bit of a bum day. I got caught in the rain, and 3 students didn't turn up for their lessons, and I had a blinding headache when I came home at 10:30, and the flat was empty, which I thought was a bit strange. I mean, usually there's the wife and her son at home. And dinn ...[text shortened]... and she is important to me. Even though I am a bad husband to her...
P.S.: This would be a good time to lay off the 'sauce' as it only makes matters worse....your wife doesn't to be worrying if you are gonna end up wrapped around a telephone pole...she needs you....NOW!
Take a mini hiatus from teaching as you aren't doing your students any favors with you mind preoccupied....you need to be with you wife. Good luck....just my advise....keep us posted on her progress....we care....
