What is this, the day of spin-off threads? Always a shocker to see Seitse as a creator of spin-offs.

Anyway, off all the TV shows through the history off time, well...since TV:

What show would you have liked to see a spin-off show of?

What spin-offs should have never been made? (like most of the ones that come up in our forums)

Which ones were good, or successful?

Eh, its a bit over done. Its like hearing a song you like way to much. At first you really like it and enjoy it, then you don't mind hearing it, and after a while you want to dig its heart out with a spoon.

Some of them are good buddy, but pick and choose carefully, you don't want to over do it.

LOL, thats ok, I seriously wasn't trying to pick on you. You do what you want to do.

I'm more interested now in the other questions I posted on TV spin-offs.

I think some TV shows just shouldn't be touched once they are go off the air, Seinfeld for example, a spin-off would likely ruin the legacy that those character left.

Probably the most successful one I can think off from recent times is Frasier, which came for Cheers. Probably would have been the last character from Cheers I would have picked for a spin-off.

One I would really like to see is a Kimmy Gibler spin-off from Full House, I woonder how she turned out... seriously, I'm kidding 😛

Joey was a spin-off of friends, and it sucked.

That was one of, if not, the worst sit-coms ever!

I agree with pocketKings, spin-offs just don't work, they are normally pants, although for those that know it Torchwood has been a good spin off from Doctor Who (British TV!), although the acting in it leaves little to be desired!

You know what you don't see much of anymore either, characters from one show guest starring on another.

I mean, how cool would it be to see 24's Jack Bauer kick some butt on CSI.

Or Dr. House magically heal someone amidst sarcasm in an episode of Lost (in the flashbacks ofcourse)

Agreed, spin-offs rarely work but some are fun to see. Like covers of your favourite songs, they usually suck but occasionally something comes along to suprise you.

I quite like "My Name Is Earl" (spin off of "Clerks"/"Mallrats" and other Kevin Smith movies). Certainly kicks ass when compared to "Joey".

Worst, Mayberry RFD.
I would have liked to have seen a Munsters spin off.

Lavern and Shirley spun off Happy Days. I got a hell of a kick out of Len and Squiggy. Hello!

I met Carmine ( "The Big Ragu" ) at a party once. Nice guy.

Personally, I'd like to see a spinoff of the Firefly series.
