Hey, you called it pretty well.
Frickin' crystal ball genius.
MacTavish has to stick with Markkenen, doesn't he? He's got two mentally scarred goalies now.
Call for Mike Morrison!
MacTavish has no choice but to stick with Markkenen. But I see him playing better in front of the home crowd for Game 3.
Mark my words though, if the Oilers lose Game 3 like they did Game 2, this series will be over in 4.

They've got to win both games in Edmonton or they're toast.

Come on now...toss in towel just cause they're down 2-0?? Same thing happened with San Jose but they won that series.
Look for Edmonton to win game 3 but lose game 4 in overtime on a B.S Brind'amour tap in.

What happened to "Don't count Jussi out!" ?

He'll win Game 3.
BUT, you must agree that IF they lose game 3 in the same fashion they lost game 2, they are dead in the water, no?
Originally posted by darvlayWell, perhaps not. Considering that out of all the sports that use series' in their playoff system, when a team was down 0-3, a team has only come back to win the next 4 games 3 times. 2 of them being NHL teams.
I'm not counting Edmonton out... yet.

Edmonton vs. Carolina?
Either Dwayne Roloson or Cam Ward's name etched on the Silver Chalice?
I love it! The Conference Finals were great, every game full of action from end to end. I'm pulling for Edmonton. I've always had a soft spot for the Oilers. Carolina could have an edge opening the series, after having dispatched Buffalo, and with no layoff t ...[text shortened]... y have a slight advantage at first with plenty of confidence. Should be a tremendous matchup.
Originally posted by eagles54Yes, fantastic game tonight. Not to much scoring like you said, but very aggressive play by the Oil, great fan support added to the game as well. Fun game to watch. Hope it's that good the rest of the series.
2-1 Oil.
It's a series again. They still need to find more goal scoring or the story will end badly for them. Great effort tonight though.
