There is a story that the cat knocked Sulfur into the vat in which Goodyear tried to get hardened rubber.

But I wasn't able to find a good source for that.

One does what one can to fulfill that objective and sometimes it gets stuck further down the page and sometimes even onto page two but we manage to, at least get it back into the vaulted position if only temporarily.👍😁
