I am pleased to make what I believe is the final announcement that the Sticky Thread Game has ended. I found this at the bottom of page one. There have been only a few posters of late. It appears to be finally over. It is interesting, also, that the thread is dying out, finally, just before the 1st year anniversary date. It might be that there is a limit to the length of time or number of postings that a completely worthless and nonsensical thread can generate. One cannot, of course, generalize such a hypothesis without independent replication.
