Pardon, mon cher... yes, timing is something. However in chess, romance and life

knowing what to do and how to do it exquisitely and when are almost everything.

Postscript: Coquette, right index only typed the qualifier "almost everything" since pure motive and right reason also

matter greatly in both the short and long haul. Otherwise all the time, effort and energy are just superficial mechanics.

Tall order, Dive. Your request is roughly the equivalent of asking for a summary of relaxed small talk during the past 209 days at someone's favorite pub. Do remember the words of Pub STG's proprietor the day it opened for business: "The object is to keep this thread on top of page one. A game destined to fail." (food & grog's still being served 3,136 chats later).

There's a memorable phrase in one of Dylan Thomas' poems I've always appreciated,

"... the force that through the green fuse drives the flower." What empowers STG?

Your automobile is powered by low or high octane fuel. Your appreciations are driven by some

level of emotional response. There's a force driving the flower up through the stem. STG isn't

unlike a blade of grass asserting itself through some crack within a hostile sidewalk pavement.
