As a piece of useless information, 'sticka' (inf form) can mean three things in Swedish:

- knit
- go, leave
- sting

That's right and there are many more examples of word confusion between English and Swedish. VD is not venereal diseases but Verkställande Direktör (Managing Director) and 'prick' is a dot. 🙂
