We are all friends here, aren't we? In Sweden, people my age would probably say 'acquaintances' - it's a word I like and respect.

Ice Cold, who was the original poster of this thread wanted it to be a thread to get away from all the arguments. Just a thread about nothing and to keep it light and peaceful on here.

I don't exactly know what GBS was talking about keeping it friendly, as I didn't think I said anything which was unfriendly. We do try to use the words stick, sticky, stuck somwhere in our sentences but not always the case.

Still puzzled about what GBS was talking about.

A thumbs down is not (sticking it to the man) actually saying something to the man would be sticking it to the man. Of course that is a two way street as you've seen.

With all do respect torunn..I've known GBS a long time now, and he directed to keep things friendly/peaceful in my direction. I do deserve an explanation as to what he was talking about.

We have always done our best to keep things light in this thread. We know the turmoil that goes on in other threads, and yes I am certainly involved in them. In here I do my best not to cause controversy.

I stick to speaking for myself and as a rule let others speak for themselves. I try and stick to that rule! 😉

My dear VR. I omitted sticking the smiley, winking, emoji in. As you mentioned we've "known" each other for quite a while and as such you should know that everything I post is tongue in cheek. Though I have, on occasion, gotten serious though not too often. Still "friends"? 🙂

Of course we are still "friends", as you know I can't afford to lose any I have...LOL...Just that you didn't put the emoji in so I thought you were serious about what you said. It is rare but you have been known to be serious. Just couldn't figure out what I said that may have been controversal, sometimes I miss stuff.
