Sticky ribbons are painful to flies, a slow way to die.
Clarence was stuck on earth without the ability to fly back to heaven. He said, "When a bell rings...an angel gets its wings".
(It's a Wonderful Life - 1946)

So, I ask...what happens when a filthy fly cries?
Does a devil get stuck with a fork...or get his horns?

I remember that film, and Clarence finally gets his wings.

Well, I wish I knew about crying flies, but they do cry and it's not nice.

She's now a veterinarian and sticks needles into pets.

I once stuck one, that had fallen out of the tree, back on it but when I went to show it to my kids it blended in so well I couldn't find it. 😳

But of course. That stickly bug looked like a twig so that its stick-like body wouldn't get stuck in the sticky stomach of a stick bug eating stork. Though, storks sometimes get sick for eating the icky sticks.
