That would be a REDBONE I'm a REDBONE man.
And yes I did as a matter of fact.
100% satisfaction with that particular purchase.
Originally posted by gambit3I looked into plotts, they are used mostly for big cats and bear if I'm correct. They run pretty staight but have never seen any of it myself personally, just from other hunters. Never heard that tidbit about walker dogs though. What states?

If your interested I contacted the AKC about thier dog shows and got this response back about the hound groups.
"Thank you for your email inquiry. The process in which breeds are
recognized and permitted to be shown in one of the 7 groups exhibited in
conformation events is a lenthy one. Part of AKC's new Coonhound
Initiative which began in the Fall of 2004 is to work with potential
organizations that would like to represent each coonhound breed in the
capacity of a "Parent" or "National" club. Once that is done, a standard
must be written, agreed upon and approved. There must also be a time
frame in which dogs are recorded in the Foundation Stock Service (FSS)
which essentially is a recording service offered to Parent clubs seeking
their breed to have full recognition and help transition them into a
group. For a certain period of time dogs will come into the FSS program
until they are established enough and then will go into the
Miscellaneous Group and then into their actual group, which in this case
would be the Hound Group. Once that transition is made those FSS dogs
would be the foundation for the breed.
Currently AKC registers and records 6 Coonhound Breeds - Plott, Redbone,
Treeing Walker, Bluetick, American English, Black and Tan. Through our
efforts in working to get these breeds transitioned into the Hound Group
you will see the Plott go into the Hound Group as of Jan. 1, 2007. It is
likely the Redbone will be next to be seen go into the Hound Group. We
are currently working with moving the other breeds into the
Miscellaneous Class.
I hope you find this information helpful. Please contact me if you have
further questions. "

I went to buy a book called "Walk With Wick". Found it at Amazon for $250.00+ when I was looking, but now the price has become only rediculouse instead of outragious.
Bought it from the writer for $34.00
RTh
Greatest difference I found was:-
Amazon: £40
BlahDVD: £5

Several discount chess outfits in the US have the latest version of Fritz for $5 - $10 off the list price, sometimes less.
First off I have been looking into buying Fritz but am quite confused about what the heck is being sold!
There are several companies offering Fritz:
Chessbase
Viva Media
Playchess
If you have Bowmann's connections, you can get it free.
Originally posted by WulebgrThe one I ordered was from Viva. They had better hope the program just opens up or I can be horrible on customer service people. One of the reasons I don't use chessmaster is because:

#1 is sux for analysis of games.
#2 the stupid chessmaster front end that made you watch a vid until you clicked and then you had to log in.

Originally posted by gambit3That is the whole point isn't it. Should I have to Escape anything in a purchased product?

I think not. Maybe I will find a hack to get around it entirely.
