My superpower would be the ability to send canaries through the post that survived the transit.

That, or the power to turn all base metals into gold.

I thought you used to go around parroting FMF's claim of "promoting a discussion and debate forum". Have you simply finally cut the pretense and just openly try to get people who disagree with you to stop posting now?

Give it a freaking rest, Mr. Paranoia.

I suppose all points made against you are cheap points, because, well, they're made against you.

I'll have you know I paid dearly for those points. Blow it out your... well, you know.

Well, it certainly wouldn't be sucking up.

Christians do sometimes put their Holy Bible to bizarre use.
That's obtuse coming from you considering what you think of the Bible. What would have been more consistent to your way of thinking would have been for you to say that anyone that uses a Bible uses it in a bizarre way.

Most Christians I have known throughout my life have not used the Bible in a way that I would consider to be bizarre.

Right! With the people that agree with you. The rest of us, especially Christians, you do just the opposite. Your pseudo intellectual hypocrisy is glaringly apparent to anyone that can read.

I have been engaging Christians (and others) here forthrightly and fruitfully for almost a decade. So what if you haven't liked it?

You mean Christians like divegeester?

You don't really know what you think you know.

I know that using the Bible to try to land punches on a fellow Christian's chin on an internet forum by mentioning "Satan" and "the False Prophet" and people being enemies of God etc. etc. is a shabby and obscene use to which to put "holy scripture". I was a Christian for long enough to know that, for sure. 😉

You're projecting your bias. You're the one trying to land punches, but you do it in a more subtle way. Thing is you probably don't realize you're doing it, which is all the sadder.

If you had ever really been a Christian you'd remember why you became one, and you'd have never forgotten why.

Why don't you give a clear testimony of your faith, and I'll tell you what it means.
