Suppose you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Presumably the Soviet Union is no longer available?

Your post is ambiguous. Are you referring to people or nations?

Great minds question things in ways that are alike.

I am referring to personal super powers, such as invisibility for example.

It's too late, divegeester. This thread is a shambles.

Perhaps I would like to have the personal super power needed to sort out a thread that's gone wrong, like this one, and edit all and anyone's posts at any time, simultaneously, so that they all said the right things, a kind of omnipotent Super Ombudsman for the web site.

It's OK. I don't mind you saying this. I will allow it.

I'd like the power to make people feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude when I point out they are using words like 'Ombudsman' incorrectly.

Mrs Outsider has always wanted me to have the same powers as Mr Fantastic, for reasons I have never been quite able to fathom.

I would like the power to discern who goes to the bother of thumbing down such gentle and inoffensive posts, to see if they are really as sad and insecure as I suspect.

I would then suggest that I be an Ombudsman and Complainant-in-Chief and Rectifier all rolled into one, a kind of One Stop Remedy Giver. Failing that, I would use my powers to simply make this thing about the meaning of Ombudsman go away.

Well, absolutely, Mr Fantastic ~ after all ~ has no difficulty going down however many fathoms are necessary.
