Yeah it's a very good place to live. I'm reasonably well traveled, and I can say that the economy and cost of living here are terrific. Right where I live (north central TX) is by no means "beautiful" but we travel an hour or two to the Hill Country, or the piney woods of east texas, and it's gorgeous. A little further afield, South Padre Island, and even better, Big Bend National Park (the largest park in the NPS)andit'ssome spectacular hiking and camping.

You do have to put up with the gun-loving bible belt-ers, no argument.

Texas is now closed! No ones coming in, no one gets out!

Texans do know what to do with snow. My neighbor built a snowman I and saw him taking it inside. We do have a snowplow for San Antonio, it is in San Angelo. We use our salt for tequila, not waste it on snow. Where I live snow falls every 12 years and we treat it like some kind of national holiday.

Oh but it is! Biggest mammalian protuberances, biggest bars to display these, biggest trucks to get there, biggest guns to shoot any bastard bothering your honey, biggest margaritas (River Walk, San Antone) and Sunday biggest Super Bowl to date!

Inanity is in the eye of the beholder. Doesn't make much sense to respond without quoting. And if it ends up being drivel then drivel it remains whether it gets quoted or not. Thanks for saying please, though.
