Gutted, purely gutted :'(
But, Trent Bridge and the Oval still to come. Ponting saved anotherwise poor performance and England played brilliantly. If nothing else, it proves that England are a match for the Aussies now.
BRING IT ON!!!!!
So, as I expected a draw, I'm not so disappointed as if I'd expected a win.
Anyway, we have had Aussies chasing the follow on target, Aussies praying for rain, Aussies grasping for the draw - I would say they are not enjoying this series 😀
I am now sure that Aussies will retain the ashes, as I believe both of the remaining 2 tests will be descisive results, and that England will not win both.
Does anyone else think Harmison was poor at the end of the game, and in the last one too, by bowling too many balls that the batsmen didnt have to play?

i'm gonna stick my neck out a bit and predict that Australia will take stock over the next nine days, and reassert her dominance in the final two tests.
Final result 3-1 Australia...
The batsmen will start getting their sh^t together, hopefully including Matty Hayden who hasn't had a ton in 14 tests or so and is sorely due. And also Gilchrist, who hasn't shown his best on this tour so far. McG will be fit, Lee will be fast and not too expensive, and Dizzy will make way for the solid Kaspar. Warne will be Warne.
