One of my thoughts is that "intermittent fasting" is just another abstract "head-mind" concept or template to follow that does not necessarily align with any particular person's or aggregate-average "gut mind" way of eating for survival and thriving.
I don't mean to dismiss IF entirely, but I think it shares something fundamentally in common with other post-industrial "head-minded" eating notions and templates in being too analytical, abstract, and by-the-clock.
We might do just as well with cabbages and a good personal library, as Cicero suggested.
