The Downfall of the General Forum

Has anybody else noticed the lack of substance in this forum lately? I mean, if we're not talking about Bowmann, we're talking about how we don't want to be talking about Bowmann. Then, of course we have to make a new thread about not not talking about Bowmann, and then of course we start talking about Bowmann once again and spark up the whole thing over again, until it spins out of control like some sort of cosmic vortex of doom.

And if we're not addressing the Bowmann Factor (as I've decided to start calling it), then we're reading posts about BIG CATS and LEOPARDS and LIONS and TIGERS, while we frantically search for a post thread that will spark our interest just enough to keep us from hacking off our limbs.

Every now and then, we get a random post that resembles something like this: "Hi, my nam is rikku and I like staples. play me in chess coz you're funny."

Lame.

To be honest, I don't think I've been a member of RHP long enough to be able to say "Back in MY day, the General Forum was a great place to post! We were all friends, and it was wonderful times." However, I can say that I've noticed a slight decline in the overall vibe of the General Forum, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one?

Shanshu311... i totally agree.. i have only subscribed the other day and have only seen few good threads.. (and the never ending Word association game)..

Lets start a topic.. a good one.. hmmm...

what can we talk about.. let meee seeee... ah! got a great idea. donno where it came from.. but.. damn i forgot it.. it kinda started with.... Bowmann!!

😉 seriously now.. you start a topic that as intelligent as chess and i'll join in..
