Dig up some old flame posts , some insult wars , etc . - post them with commentary . Who were the guys that made the general forum great but are no longer amoung us ?

Sadly, I cannot make the claim to be "an old timer in the forums". I came in, from what I can tell, during the very last days of the forum golden age. I think that this thread is a good place to start seeing what it was like; especially with some of the people who have posted here recently.
I think there's been kind of a lul the last few weeks , too . But every time I think the forum's are dead , someone posts something that catches me off guard and ends up engaging me . This is just the trough between crests .
I'm going to read the prose competition entries now .
