I was a bit gutted as well. And now other players are leaving because of what happened to Ironman31, good players like el bruto and mythr (spelling??) its a shame.

I have found the whole thing to be a rather ugly affair. I definately was in favour of disclosing players that had been cheating, but now that we have this information available i'm not sure i like it. I thought ironman31 was a genuinely brilliant player, even though he's been banned i still find it hard to believe he was actually cheating. I can't back this up with anything other than gut instinct though. I'm glad i'm not a game mod, it must have been a really difficult decission to remove him.

You know what angers me??? Players that claim that they are so upset by the affairs here that they are leaving? Give RHP a break, Nobody could prove the Game Mods wrong, Not Ironman, not no one. You know whats funny, Ironman31 was a good friend of mine here, we played alot, had some good discussions, but do you see many lower rated players taking a leave because of the decision, no, ironically top 20 players and a few 2000 players are all leaving. Weird how that works, if Ironman31 was legit, well there are alotta players here who are of good nature, and good friends with him, and why have they not decided to leave?? Because of ignorance...I have been given enough proof, and no claim otherwise, so if you feel that because two top 20 players in almost 6 months to a year were fished out to be cheaters, and really, they were the only ones since the other accounts were all 1400 or less that were band, well how is the a witch hunt??? or how were they exploited or treated unfair compared to others? 1 year almost since we have really discussed cheating and game mods have been created, and a player 500+ wins lost only twice and matched over 90% with Fritz and played moves that would have kasparov wondering what hit him, well....and everyone wonders how come they dont match in every game, Yozzer and IM both played prior for years and were roughly rated 2000 rating maybe lower or higher, but they understood the game and could outplay most of the lower rated competition here. I remember a game when Yozzer first started here, he was 2000 rated and blundered his queen to a former member of a clan i was in, he resigned after 9 moves...but that player was lower rated, but while he played 1800 rated players and above he matched fritz extremely...I think this whole topic is done and we should just focus on finding the rest of the Cheats on RHP and thats it. Good job Game Mods, and for the players leaving RHP, no offence, but see ya...it would take more balls to stay play your games and prove your not a cheat then to run away to another chess site...
