Sticking with recent movie trash....
Open Water - Stunk, really stunk. Now that commercials are airing for the DVD I can only ask my self what bonus footage and deleted scenes....another 10 minutes of people floating in the water.
The Darkness - The title is apparently a description of the plot, the acting, the effects, etc. Because it all sucked into complete darkness. Walked out of the theatre on this one.

WHOA! Sphere was an excellent movie!!! You have to realize the overall theme...
I think the overall story was good, but the director could have done so much more with it. I think they presented it in a very dull and boring way.
It reminds me of those poeple that go to tell a joke and they take way too long with a boring story building up to the punch line.
After you're bored out of your mind listening to the story then they say the punchline and you're not even interested anymore..
