What drives a person to repeatedly engage in fruitless, uncivilized discourse with no reward other than sheer exhaustion or frustration?

I mistakenly hit the Forums button instead of My Clubs and found myself here. Mind if I ask a question of the last poster? Frank Burns to be exact. Frank, I was checking out my FRIENDS list last week and found your name there. When did THAT ever happen? I am losing my memory, I guess. 🙄
