    I like fruitfull, civilized discourse myself. For three reasons: I want to figure out what to believe; I want to confirm or validate the beliefs I've decided on; I want figure out why other reasonable rational folks don't agree with me.

    I try to be ready to learn I was wrong. I've done that many times. Makes me feel stupid.
