You are of course entitled to your persepctive that the forum is in an "irreparable" state; however, in articulating it I think you are overplaying your hand and sound somewhat petulant and a bit silly to be perfectly honest.

Correction: "There [are] always positive and negative threads and posts going on."
Thanks for being "perfectly honest" which means you've decided to become part of the solution rather than the problem. ~GB
For a forum to be vibrant and active, positive and negative influences need to be balanced. A predominance of either will drive away readers and wreck the forums. Readers - in this forum at least - come here expecting entertainment.
Which this post isn't. I'm feeling boring this morning.

Now please correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't it read: "I'm feeling bored this morning"
Not " I'm feeling boring this morning"?
Hope you get the humor in me trying to correct your grammar. 😉

I got it, thanks VR. 🙂
Actually it was "boring" I meant. I'm not feeling bored at all, I'm feeling the urge to annoy people by boring them. 😀

In fact it has been lomng since there was a day when the whole first page had last posts at the same date.
But digging won't help. I think the last time was the Trevalanche in January 2015.

rookie54 was referring to this "virtual space", not you.

To be perfectly honest, your 'January 6' decision might have been part of the "solution". 😉

A post which on the surface is a civil thank-you, but the sting "you've decided ..." is a direct statement that divegeester is a problem. Then there's the suggestion that the poster is organising a solution project and divegeester has joined that project.
I didn't read a civil thank-you. I read a combination of self-aggrandisement and attack on another poster.
