And yet that's an obfuscation....
"you certainly aren't attempting to moderate these" - on what are you basing this? You cannot see how many posts that contained f*** have been removed as you cannot see what isn't there. All you can say is that not all of them are removed, which is something I have never denied. However, just because lesss than 100% are removed does this mean that none ...[text shortened]... policy.
2 edits: the less than symbol apparently cuts the post short if used....
Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seems to me that what you're actually doing is looking at the posts and making a judgment call about what's offensive and what's not. If so, I don't have a problem with this idea--it's going to be a little arbitrary as everyone has different judgment about what's offensive and what's not, but that's life! But if that's the case then let's just say it rather than giving out rules which are obviously bogus.
Originally posted by NordlysBut all the posts i mentioned in my second examples are still there, in what context does "you're a prick" (not quoting an invisible person) make for good reading?
Read again what he was saying. He is not trying to imitate robomod and delete blindly any word which in some context might be offensive. He is looking at the context. In my eyes, that's a good thing.
I think he's shot his credibility in the foot a bit, because all the examples in my second post are still there.
I checked.

You are still here, aren't you?
If i was to be banned for four enfractions, then this one would be important, thats all i'm saying. And an unfair one.
I would like to thank BF for the chance to argue my case, however, that was more than fair 🙂
