I was about to get The Simpsons' chess set but saw this

I liked the nudie one mokko linked to a long time ago. Remember that? I would buy a set like that.

Otherwise, themed sets confuse me.

a friend of mine has the simpsons one (looks pretty cool)

i almost bought the starwars one for my 8yo son (he is still just learning to play but is almost as big an SW fan as I am lol)... but didnt since he would probably break it and I would be annoyed since i really wanted it for me lol
