I was part of the backbone of Metallica if you want me to put it bluntly. I was not about to argue with a fellow clanmate in the public forums which I told you time and again. I wasn't throwing any tantrum what so ever. I was doing what I felt was right for me as well as the Clan which I will always hold in respect, at least the long term players I knew very well and played with for many years and were successful. I certainly didn't make this decision lightly.
All you had to do is cut out your crap in the public forums and I'd still be there fighting to at least get past the clan I am now in, which I am sure is a priority right now to get past. I gave an ultimatum which Metallica doesn't do. More of your clanmates than you know pleaded with me to come back even while I was marked "LEAVING". One even said to pretend you were deceased. I know the Clan leader was between a rock and hard place, but I was hoping that my time and loyalty I put in with the clan over 13 years would mean something.
I was hoping you would be told to stop arguing in the public forums with me. Do you think I WANTED to leave? You are sadly mistaken or happily so if you do, I really don't know the answer to that. Keep in mind it is the players that make the Clan, and the Clan Leaders who make things work.
In this case I believe communication was lost, I think they figured they'd call what they thought was a bluff on my part. Even other Clan Leaders, wanted to know why Metallica would let me go and keep you. I really didn't have an answer for that one question. Sure I am easily replaced but is that person going to win over 100 games per year for the clan, yet remains to be seen? The next 12 years will give us the answer.
I wish the long term players I've played with all the best, you all know who you are.
I feel less pressure now and don't feel like I have to win which makes playing less stressful. Remember between Divegeester and myself it was a two way street. I also could have stopped, but I'm just not built that way as many of you know. Good Luck!

@gambrel saidWords are hardly a fight my friend. Now if you said when my friends have harsh words for each other, you may be closer to the truth. I always speak the truth, although it isn't always well received.
I hate it when my friends fight each other.
I was just watching a story they had on 9-11 today being the 20 anniversary and how people all came together took strangers in their homes and found lodging for thousands of people. I believe something like 40 plus airplanes were re-directed to Stanfield International Airport here in Halifax. My mom was alive at the time and helped put care packages together. I put my name in for transferring people or goods but there were thousands ahead of me on it, I was put on a list but never called. I remember seeing it on Regis and Catchy Lee I believe was his co-host at the time. They didn't know if it was real at first. There was some light in all darkness that day! Lifelong friends were made where once they were strangers.
