I am not actually arguing with you, merely trying to understand the basis of your scriptural knowledge. There is no way for me to put it to you other than that you really do not know your Bible. I can't put it in a nice way, I am sorry.

You need to understand the difference between judging those that have accepted Christ and those that have not accepted Christ. The basics are that when in Church, we expect to 'feel' God. If you have read the OT, you would have noticed that we had to be 'clean' for God (Holy, pure) to be with us. If we have a Church where members sin excessively (HINT: sleeping with your fathers wife), we cannot sit back and ignore the problem. We MUST judge our brothers. If we claim to be a Christian, and someone else claims to be a Christian, can we allow them to spread lies about the faith, or live in a manner which makes unbelievers think badly of Christians ? No. As such, people can be kicked out of Church. Simply put, it is a requirement (a neccesity) to judge brothers in Christ. As such, if Kirk 'preaches' what I consider a false gospel I am required to point out my disaproval. As Kirk has requested that I not speak to him privately, I rebuke him publically, should he spread false gospel.

P.S., For someone who was recently chastising someone about
grammar, here's a little tip: it's 'etc.' not 'ect.' It's short for,
'et cetera' which is Latin for 'and so forth.' It's a common mistake
and I accept your thanks in advance for making you a better
English speaker.

Poor effort Nem 🙂 I am sure no1 will appreciate you sticking up for him. The difference was that no1 was actually insulting someone's intelligence at the time, which I guess made his poor grammar rather funny.

As for 'etc/ect', I touch type, you may notice alot of typo's in my threads. I guess I could use Word to spell check for me, but have better things to do with my time 🙂

P.P.S., Obviously, based on your repeated insults and judgments,
the question isn't whether I know my Bible or not, but whether you
know yours. I vote 'no.'

I can see why people feel I pick on Kirk (which I guess I do), but I've explained my motives. Kirk should also understand that if he reads his Bible. You however still seem upset about a discussion I had with Bennet over a year ago. I suggest you get the chip off your shoulder and instead of discussing me (and everything I post), discuss the topic.

cheers

Jesus can never forgive people who take their own lives. The one sin which is unforgivable. Above killing millions of others. Makes sense eh? Hitler can go to heaven, but you, who've been raped by priests since u were 6 until ...[text shortened]... ed to eternity in hell. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... makes sense to me.

Interesting; I've concluded that you don't know your Bible. When I quote it
you accuse me of misreading it, but when you quote it, you claim it is 'The Truth.'

I've provided arguments for my suggested reading. You haven't; you've just told
me that you can't argue until you understand the basis of my Scriptural knowledge.

Sound fair to you? Or does it sound like a double standard?

I'm sorry. When it said, 'Do not judge,' I guess I took it literally. You want to
interpret the Bible (but won't allow for others' interpretations).

Sound fair to you? Or does it sound like a double standard?

Well, if you are going to admonish him, you should do so armed with
the Gospel, not with insults and slander. Point out his theological infelicities
and debate the nature of the 'unchanging Truth.' Don't condemn him out
of hand, without arguments or support (but wait, you just did that with me...).

Well, if poking fun at his grammar as a basis for questioning his intelligence is
legitimate, I guess poking fun at your poor grammar in light of your making fun
of his poor grammar made my comment rather funny.

You give yourself far too much credit, as if I stay up at night worked up
about an event I don't even remember.

By the way, the 'chip off your shoulder' reference was a bit of ironic genius!
You really bring down the house with such choice selection of metaphor,
especially in light of your continual prodding of Kirksey.

Your motives are both Scripturally unsound and unChristian. They are
worthy of examination, which I have done above. You may not like
the examination, but, as you said, Christians aren't allowed to just
pick and choose which Scripture they like (sort of like you did with
my references to St Paul, actually).

The first Christian isnt Jesus its St Paul.

The bible really isnt anything to do with Christianity, its only been made that way by the church after it was writen.

Jesus has NOTHING, ZERO, ZIP etc to do with the Christian Church, it is only humans after Jesus that are linking him to the church and not Jesus himself.
The 11 Disciples became believer in Christ before Paul did.
Yes 11 not 12 because Judas betrade Jesus.
It doesn't matter who was first the only thing that matters is that Jesus SAVES.

Go read your Bible and find out. The unforgiveable sin is not accepting Christ.

You muppety retard, why dont you get this simple concept, Jesus and the Bible/Church are two different things. The Bible is a collection of books. Jesus and God forgive sins and THEY have NOTHING to do with the Bible, its only the Bible trying to latch onto them. Is this really such a hard concept to grasp ?

It does matter who was the first you idiot, I could say im the first person of a new religion and then say you are going to burn in hell because you arent of my relg ...[text shortened]... e to be proof from Jesus himself. If you cant, just shut the fuc* up about Jesus being for you!
You were the one who bought up who was the first Christian and you said it was Paul. I know you are not a Christian so you would not understand. And for you to say if you fallow Christ you wouldn't uses all those swear word. But I know you do not have to BALLS to type the whole word out.

You utter fool. Do you really think Jesus didnt swear? Jesus killed a couple of pigs just to use their stomachs as footballs.

You arent following the words of Jesus, he never said "Thou shall not swear" that is only you saying it and not Jesus.........right RBHILL? Do you agree or disagree with that statement. If you dodge the question everyone can take that as you have to agree because im right.

Again you are going against things you have said in the past. You have often put down other religions. Yet now you are saying anyone can have a one to one relationship with god is that what you are saying. Even Jews and the like ? If that is so then your idea of Christianity isnt importaint at all right ?

Jesus did say never to swear but like I said you have no BALLS to enter a Christian Church and give it a try, I was like you I didn't want to but I gave it a try.
